Embrace Sacrifice: The hospitality industry demands dedication, often requiring sacrifices of personal milestones and holidays. Embrace these challenges with grace, knowing that your support network will understand, and you’ll forge new traditions along the way.
Say Yes to Opportunities: Always be open to new challenges. Even when doubts arise, accept opportunities boldly, trust in your ability to overcome obstacles, and seek help when needed.
No Task is Beneath You: Regardless of the task, whether it’s washing dishes or peeling carrots, approach every job with the same commitment. It’s the small details that count and contribute to your growth.
Be a Global Citizen: Travel extensively and immerse yourself in different cultures. Verona’s travels to nearly 50 countries and over 120 cities have enhanced her cultural understanding and empathy, essential traits for a successful leader.
Work Hard, Work Smart: The hospitality industry demands continuous excellence. As you advance in your career, balance hard work with smart strategies, lead with compassion, support your colleagues, and always strive for excellence.
