Minimum entry requirement:

National Senior Certificate, or equivalent

Two intakes per year:

February and July

Successful graduates will receive:

Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality and City & Guilds of London will award their Diplomas in to those who have registered with them and successfully passed.

  • National Certificate in Patisserie (SAQA ID No: 73292, NQF Level 5)
  • City & Guilds Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking (Patisserie)
  • Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality Diploma in Confectionery and Patisserie
  • Sugar Craft and Chocolate Work specialisation included in the programme

What will I Learn?

This exciting programme will provide the knowledge and experience to the move effortlessly between the most basic puff pastry to complex plated desserts. This Qualification has been designed to provide a range of skills appropriate to a person working in a kitchen specializing in desserts, cakes and decoration. Specialisation in sagecraft and chocolate work.
