Theme Parks have come a long way from their early days when you could only experience occasional tiny teacups and Ferris wheels.
Nowadays, they have morphed into city sized venues that have the longest, highest and fastest rides and have added to the hospitality industries appeal. Every year, new technology allows customers to experience literally the highest highs and the lowest lows in terms of rollercoaster rides! Who doesn’t love a little #ScreamFactor from time to time?

Something new from team Ferrari
Ferrari fans will be delighted to know that Ferrari are set to open their second theme park called Ferrari Land in Spain that will feature Europe’s highest and fastest vertical accelerator. According to A Luxury Travel Blog, Ferrari Land will be constructed at a cost of €100m, and will be developed over 75,000 square metres within the PortAventura resort and theme park outside of Barcelona.
The new theme park is likely to add the following awesome attractions: a driving simulator, Formula 1 car exhibits and slot car rides. Of course no theme park is complete without a magnificent five-star hotel and Ferrari plan to shape their new development into the shape of a Formula 1 front wing housing 250 rooms.

Working at a Theme Park
Working at a theme park looks like a total blast, but we thought we would get an experts opinion on the matter. Pierre van Heerden is an IHS graduate, chef extraordinaire and all round awesome guy who is currently working at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Orlando, Florida, USA. This is what Pierre has to say on the matter: “Working for a theme park is like being on a roller coaster, it's exhilarating, exciting, fast and fun, but you need to be patient, like standing in the queue, to take the ups and downs...”
