Distance Learning

Work and life commitments often make it difficult or impossible to be a full-time (or part-time) student.
Online and Distance Learning study is a suitable alternative that provides flexibility and convenience.

As one of South Africa’s leading hospitality schools, The International Hotel School offers a modern mix of relevant courses that equip individuals with the skills and knowledge they require to be successful hospitality industry professionals. These are now also available to the student through Correspondence and Online Learning.

Distance Learning suits those wishing to update their knowledge and improve their operating standards and practices, who do not have the chance to study full time. The wide variety of academic course options is geared towards solving specific managerial and operational concerns. Correspondence studies benefit everyone concerned. Management benefits from a well-trained and skilled staff. Employees benefit from high quality training, which can increase their value on the job and help to advance their careers.

Correspondence

For those without access to the internet, or for whom Online Learning is not the solution, Correspondence based programmes are available for over 30 different subjects using the materials developed by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI). These AHLEI courses can be started at any time throughout the year - and students can benefit from tutorials arranged in Cape Town, Durban or Sandton.
