Pastry Chef CourseThis exciting program will provide the knowledge and experience to move effortlessly between the most basic puff pastry to complex plated desserts. Covered in this program is: cake baking, decorative cake icing, deserts and basic bead making.

The course structure includes theory and practical cookery lessons, with 10 weeks spent in bakeries, restaurant or hotel patisserie kitchens gaining knowledge and skills on the job from industry experts.

Minimum Entry Requirement:

  • City & Guilds Diploma in Culinary Arts

Duration:

  • 6 months (January 2012 intake)

Cost:

  • R40 500.00 and includes all learning material, cake icing kit, uniforms and examination fees. (Excluding supplementary examinations)

Payment options

Pastry Chef SchoolAn initial Non Refundable payment of R5 000 is payable on acceptance.

  • Option 1 – Early Payment Option (R40 500)
    Full payment made by 19 December 2011
  • Option 2 – Full Payment by Registration Day (R40 500)
    An initial payment of R17 750 is due by 19 December 2011 and second payment of R17 750 is due on Registration Day
  • Option 3 – Late Payment Option Fee (R40 500)
    A first payment of R15 000 is due by the 19 December 2011 followed by 4 equal payments of R6 000 due by the end of February, March, April and May 2012.
