This management based programme focuses on how to run and control a kitchen, from cost controls and menu planning to quality control.
The course structure includes theory and practical cookery lessons, with work integrated learning spent in industry learning from kitchen managers at food service management properties, gaining knowledge and skills on the job from industry experts.

Upon successful completion of this programme, graduates will receive:
- City & Guilds Advanced Diploma in Food Preparation and Cookery Supervision
Minimum Entry Requirement:
- City & Guilds Diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant experience
- 6 months (January and June intake)

Tuition fees include all learning material, uniforms, text books and first examination fees but excludes other incidentals
Should you wish to do both the City & Guilds Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking (Patisserie) as well as the City & Guilds Diploma in Food Preparation and Cookery Supervision, the fee for this for the full year of study, commencing July 2014 will be R72 800.00
