International Hotel School Hotel Operations Diploma
The International Hotel School (IHS) is proud to announce our latest course offering – the Hotel Operations Programme, a two year City & Guilds based programme.
The Hotel Operations Programme will provide students with the relevant practical experience, skills, theory and knowledge ideal for those wishing to start their career in the field of hospitality operations. The programme covers the disciplines of Food and Beverage Service, Reception Operations and Services, and Accommodation Operations and Services.
The course consists of 50% class work (knowledge and skills development), and 50% experiential learning. IHS will place students in hotels and other leading hospitality establishments for the experiential learning component of the programme. Working in the hospitality industry will enable students to gain valuable knowledge, skills and work experience.
Scheduled in 3 month rotations, on completion of the programme the students will have spent one year on campus concentrating on knowledge and skills development, and one year in the hotel industry gaining vital work experience.
